I'm hemjaygfx, a software dev based in Nigeria.

I build clean, real-time web apps and I care just as much about how they look as how they work.

My expertise lies in the MERN Stack, where i specialize in building robust backend architecture & responsive, high-concurrency frontends.

I've got a few pinned projects, but my favorite is NexTalk — a real-time MERN chat app with Socket.io and JWT auth.

Fun Facts:

• I've tried every IDE, but I always come back to VS Code
• I judge the success of my day by how many times I actually remembered to stand up from my chair
• Enjoys football and strategy games when not coding
• If an app doesn't have a Dark Mode, I'm probably not using it
